What This Means

4. Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")

What This Means

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances:

  • The data is no longer necessary for its original purpose
  • You withdraw consent (where consent is the legal basis)
  • The data was unlawfully processed
  • You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds

  • Establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims
  • Public interest purposes

How to Request

You can delete your account from your Profile Settings, which will remove your personal data. For specific deletion requests:

5. Right to Restrict Processing

What This Means

You can ask us to temporarily stop processing your data while:

  • You contest the accuracy of the data
  • You have objected to processing
  • We investigate potentially unlawful processing
  • You need data for legal claims but we no longer need it

What This Means

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller.

7. Right to Object

What This Means

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.

8. Rights Related to Automated Decision Making

What This Means

You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you.

How Fiacore Uses Automation

We use AI and automation for:

  • Transaction Categorization: Automatic category suggestions (you can always override)
  • Financial Insights: AI-generated analysis and recommendations (informational only)
  • Pattern Detection: Identifying recurring transactions

None of these automated processes make legally binding decisions about you. All suggestions can be reviewed and changed by you.

9. How to Submit a Request

Verification

To protect your data, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. This may include:

  • Sending the request from your registered email address
  • Confirming account details
  • Responding to a verification email

Response Time

  • Standard: Within 30 days of receiving your verified request
  • Complex Requests: May be extended by up to 60 additional days (we'll notify you)

Fees

Requests are generally free. We may charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, or for additional copies of data.
